Social Worker Narges Muhammadi infected by coronavirus in Iranian prison, accused of withholding treatment


Narges Muhammadi, a social working Zanjan jail, is infected by the coronavirus. Shereen Ebadi, an Iranian lawyer confirmed that had been infected with the coronavirus in prison. Lawyer Shereen Ebadi wrote on her telegram channel on social media quoting family members of Narges Muhammadi that she has been infected with coronavirus in the jail. According to her family, a human rights activist suffered from kidney failure due to respiratory problems. She expressed concern over the deteriorating health of Narges Muhaamdi.
According to Narges Muhammadi's family, she's been suffering from kidney disease for the past several years and now her health deteriorated further due to the coronavirus, and she is now at greater risk than ever before.

Prison officials are reportedly depriving her of test and treatment, According to the family members, Narges Muhammadi has been deprived of basic rights like treatment for many days.
