Due to coronavirus pandemic, Emirates is going to lay off 9,000 employees.


Middle Eastern airline company Emirate's president said that due to coronavirus, Emirates decided to lay off 9,000 employees. This is the first time that the biggest airline company is going to lay off their employees. Before this pandemic, the employees working in the airline company were around 60,000. Tim Clark said that the company has already laid off 1/10th of its staff. He also said that "We will lay off some more employees that make up about 15 percent of the staff."
